Guilin Flying Tigers Museum

The Flying Tigers were founded between the Chinese and the Americans who were devoted to fight for peace with the Japan Fascist in 1943 in China at the peak of Pacific War. The Guilin Flying Tigers Museum was built in the Flying Tiger Guilin Heritage Park in memory of Flying Tigers at the end of 2015. It stands at Yangtang Old Airport, at the hillside 13km away from Guilin and 2km from Lingui County.

You could visit the historical sites and relics, such as General Chennault’s Operations and Command Cave (the former command post of Flying Tigers), Flying Tigers’ photos, the documentation on building the airport of Yangtang, the military uniforms and the badges of the pilots, some newspapers on Flying Tigers during that period donated by the Flying Tiger Historical Organization, the remains of the fighters used then, C-47 fighter, etc.
