Zhengyang Walking Street

Located in the downtown of the Guilin city and built on the Zhengyang Road(正阳路) with a history of over one thousand years, the Zhengyang Walking Street (正阳步行街) is 666 meters long.

Besides the buildings with styles of the Han (202 BC – 220 AD) and Tang (618 AD – 907 AD) Dynasties on each side, there are several buildings with the European style. Boutique shops stand on either side of the street. Restaurants, hotels, theatres, stadiums, commercial facilities and scenic spots surround it.

The Zhengyang Walking Street has all of the conveniences that are required for good shopping in a very pleasant environment. In many ways the Zhengyang Walking Street is the hub of the city. Its shops and restaurants bring thousands of people daily to the area and at night it pulsates with life as people use many venues that offer great night life.
